Any Investigator/Research working for an Institution accredited by World Education Services.

Recipients of DECBB tissue shall submit a progress report within 2 years of receipt of the samples, upon completion of the research using the tissue and at the time of submission of manuscripts for publication.

We encourage grant applicants to submit a request with details of your proposed research through DECBB. Proposals will be reviewed by the DECBB steering committee. If the request is approved, when samples are available and MTAs are completed and signed by the respective institutions, samples will be shipped at the requestor's expense. If funding is pending, and the request is approved in principle, the DECBB can provide a letter of support if needed.

The requestor or receiving lab will be expected to cover the cost for processing and shipping samples. You will be asked to provide the shipping information when your tissue request is approved.

The MTA is effective for 1 year after it has been electronically countersigned by the UWO/Lawson Authorized Official. The contact information can be found on the MTA template.

A copy of the DECBB approved/signed MTA will be emailed to the Requestor upon approval. The DECBB approved/signed MTA will also be available via the "Documents and Forms for Researchers" tab of request. It is the responsibility of the Investigator to download the DECBB signed MTA and provide it to requesting institution officials as necessary.

The DECBB standard MTA should be used, as is, unless it is absolutely necessary to make minor changes. In the event that minor changes are required please email the DECBB and request an editable copy of the DECBB standard MTA. Please note that making changes to the standard MTA may lengthen the request process.
